If you want to protest against Israel what is the easiest and most obvious target? Is it wrong? Yes. Is it stupid? Yes. Is it anti-semitism? Maybe. But we shouldn't always jump to the simplest and most convenient political answer as Karvelas does.

But no-one suggested that the attackers were French-phobic. No, they were simply expressing their anger and frustration against the most obvious and easy targets. If you want to protest against nuclear energy, do you spray paint wind farms? No.

It's equally possible that they are simple protests against the refusal of some in the Jewish community to condemn the Israeli Government for it's genocide.

Do we recall French nuclear testing in the Pacific? Perhaps you remember that French restaurants were attacked? This was wrong and illegal.

This sort of response by Karvelas is fundamentally wrong & demonstrates precisely the type of kneejerk response we constantly get from our conservative and biased media.

Yes. These attacks are wrong. It's possible, though unproven, that they are anti-semitic.
