something about a massive impossible landmark in the distance tickles my brain folds good and having the pillars serve as this for the various backdrops in some of the levels in Defiance was a top choice

the pillars of nosgoth from the Legacy of Kain franchise. these pillars of power stretching seemingly infinitely upwards, and as you see in Soul Reaver 2, downwards aswell and the various states you find them in throughout the series being indicative of the overall world's wellbeing are so iconic.

foodprepping the next week's work lunches for me is me making God's Own Miracle to put in the boxes and then when I'm done, I make the saddest thing to ever enter human gastronomic systems to eat as breakfast now.
