It’s why there’s the saying, “A grand jury would indict a ham sandwich.” A responsible prosecutor doesn’t bring a case they don’t think they can win. So the good ones resign or get fired. He wants to use an indictment to ruin ppl financially. He just finds a prosecutor that’ll do what he wants.

There’s no defense in a GJ. Prosecutor presents evidence & says, “This evidence proves x did x.” The evidence is not able to be challenged. So, the jury only has the prosecutor’s word on things. A good prosecutor won’t bring a case they don’t think they can win. This is just to make their lives hell
