Where is the outrage and emotion about the thousands of additinal kids that will be negatively impacted by having no program at all?

Headstart - sometimes kids get released to the wrong parents or don’t get the education they need - so let’s dismantle it! But what about the FACT that ~50% of the kids in the Headstart program will be left with NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE AT ALL WITHOUT HEADSTART?

Department of “efficiency” - a brand new department with 2 leaders. Wow. Much efficiency. But also, let’s talk conflict of interest - as the owner of SpaceX, Elon Musk is one of the largest indirect recipients of government grants - now in charge of controlling government contracts and spending.

FDA - they absolutely let poison into our food - Red40, Yellow5. But again, the reasons those things aren’t allowed in foods elsewhere is because of regulation, not because of a lack of it. There’s no mention of all the things the FDA keeps out of our food or any look at what dismantling would do.

Their rhetoric is “it doesn’t work, dismantle it”. They dig into the 5-30% inefficiency, incense public sentiment (EMOTION), and get people so upset about the imperfections that they forget what they’re left with without the system - NOTHING.

The PUREST evil hides in partial truths. The incoming admin has wielded partial truths to an wrguable highest level of efficacy of any entity previously -

BUT until we acknowledge that we live in a world where voter sentiment is controlled by opinions and feelings, lies and propaganda will continue to beat logic and reason.
