It is astonishingly good. π₯²
This conversation is exactly the kind of thing you dream of happening when you make a work of art. Extremely productive and honest perspectives, critique guided by a long-term and good faith engagement with the game. I'd recommend this episode to anybody wondering if Triangle Agency is for them.
A big shout out to all 11,500 folks across the creative industries who spoke up last year against the government's plans to give away our IP to big tech and AI grifters.
With nearly 90% outright rejecting the government's plans, the House of Lords noticed this, and align with it wholeheartedly.
I can't believe how close I came to swearing off Pokemon forever after Legends Z-A. And how forcefully and completely Pokopia pulled me back from the brink. From the lowest low to one of the franchise's highest highs.
"shows serious range." π¨
The AIs are selling themselves at this point.
Arenβt like 70% of their movies about death
We can but hope. π€π€π€
No way! Both are more relevant now than ever. The evils of school/uni/adulthood through the lens of supernatural evil. Escaping the capitalist and authoritarian propaganda of the Central Planets by forging your own path with a crew of found family. There's so much more for these shows to say today.
Bouncing between Pokopia and Pokemon FireRed is like taking off your favourite slippers and putting on your comfiest pair of walking shoes.
Stunning victory in Stroud last night.
Look at that majority! ππ

They killed 180 children and their teachers in a double-tap strike on a school. The girls were 7 to 12 years old.
One word has three letters and one has two of the same letter in the middle, itβs a real CONUNDRUM.
No Ghost of Yotei is especially surprising when Tsushima did so well. Maybe theyβre scared of the Steam Machine (even though it may never actually launch thanks to AI bullshit RAM scarcity lol π₯²).
Nixxes next to be shuttered? π
trying out a new feature, lmk if it works
Very excited for this one!
No idea why theyβre rehashing Ravenloft when both Curse of Strahd and Van Richtenβs Guide still stand up as two of their best books of all time.
Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.
This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.
And we're making hope normal again - together.

Should really start on a Friday...
Will check it out!
Esoteric Ebb (@esotericebb.bsky.social), on the other hand... I had to stop playing the demo after 30 mins, because this is so extremely my shit and I want to save it for a proper playthrough. Disco Elysium meets D&D, with fantastic art and a world I can't wait to explore. And it's out next week! ππ₯²
Not finished the Zero Parades For Dead Spies demo yet, but it's Disco Elysium 2 in all but name. I'm struggling with this one, because my mind can't separate the demo from the dev drama and with constant comparisons to Disco Elysium, I'm finding it very hard to judge it on its own merits. π€
On the surface, There Are No Ghosts At The Grand (@noghostsgame.bsky.social) is a spooky renovate-em-up (House Flipper, Powerwash Simulator) but it's also extremely narrative-forward (AND funny!). Demo took about 30 mins, took me to places I didn't expect and left me wanting more. Recommended! π»πββ¬π¨
More demos! Alabaster Dawn by @radicalfishgames.com is an impressive 2D pixel-art ARPG with a chunky two-hour demo. I never played CrossCode, but after this I'm tempted to go back and check it out before this drops. Enjoyed my time with it! βοΈπ«

I held my nose and hate-played until I hit the credits. It never got better, only worse. I know itβs mostly my fault for playing more than I wanted to, but Iβve never felt so angry about a game wasting my time and its own potential. I loved Legends: Arceus so much.
It was frankly atrocious.
I would be very pleased if this was the case. Arceusβ best innovation, squandered in Z-A. Would be nice to have a world to explore and catch in again.
