I'm sorry but every time I see artist advice that's like "make sure you post frequently! the algorithm likes consistency and lots of content!" I just shake my head. recipe for burnout. we were not built to maintain the rapid pace of social media, and feeding the algorithm will never satisfy it

what is successful for social media =/= what is good for you as an individual artist. of course platforms that want you to scroll forever and look at ads want you to make as much free content for them as possible. You're a person though, not a printer.
