Been working on getting a sleeve filled with medicinal and poisonous flowers. Hidden within is a fox, who is my own personal symbol.

Been spending Pride helping people at the pharmacy and as always, being visible to the community in that way. I have wrist bands and pins and in no way hide who I am.
Sadly, I misses World Pride due to my Pride worried it was too dangerous with everything going on. Coming from a Pride in Florida.

Spending all my very small amount of spoons trying to keep my peers from being ignorant, keep my lolcal Pride even happening when all others are closing their doors, helping those who are losing rights and access, and trying to stay sane myself.

I worked with a fellow pharmacist who grew up in those camps. With hiw badly the general population treated him at work, he said it was worse than the camps. All of this is so horrible.

I do know good nurses but there are so many who think they know it all and its usually the ones who spend the least amount of time in school or educating themselves.

I had a tech in nursing school whose coursework last the equivilent of 2 semesters tell me I didn't know what I was talking about. I have a docterate in medicine. 😑

I will not allow my community to be jettisoned to save yourself. Yes, if you don't, other groups may suffer, and you might too.

White House pauses all federal grants, sparking confusion The Trump administration has put a hold on all federal financial grants and loans, affecting tens of billions of dollars in payments.

I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

“Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.
