I keep seeing the “somehow, Palpatine returned” in reference to Max Landis…and he’s actually had that image up on his instagram stories seemingly before the news even broke. so there’s this weird self awareness or lack of it there

Grant Morrison was wrong about AI and I cannot sanction Deadpool’s buffoonery but in my opinion they’ve still got the juice. they’ve got it big time.

I dream of the return of the Amalgam comics universe.

RIP legendary DC Comics colorist TATJANA WOOD who just passed away at age 99. Tatjana had decades long runs on OUR AT WAR/SGT. ROCK and SWAMP THING, and in 1973 succeeded Jack Adler as cover colorist. Tatjana colored almost all of DC's covers from '73 until the end of 1983 when the covers were split between the two of us, with Tatjana coloring the westerns, war and mystery/horror covers while I did most of the superhero titles. I'm sad to hear of Tatjana's passing, but how wonderful to know she had 99 years on this Earth. Tatjana was a dear friend to us peons in DC production back in the early '80s. She will be missed indeed. 🤍

Tatjana Wood has apparently passed away at age 99. Her father was Jewish so during WW2 her parents sent her to the Netherlands, then NY. She studied as a dressmaker, met/married Wallace Wood and began assisting him, then pivoted to becoming one of the best colorists in comics.

So sad to share that legendary colorist Tatjana Wood has passed away at the age of 99. Her pioneering painterly touch graced scores of DC & Vertigo series. She was truly one of a kind and a special friend. May her memory be a blessing.

I agree with you! personally, in my mind, Spider-Man is Jewish, but that’s just me. there’s no official canon confirmation of that…until I ascend to my rightful place as EIC of Marvel which is my inevitable destiny

there’s a movie called Everest with a ton of big name actors in it about a tragic failed climbing expedition, and like 80% of the movie is everybody just hanging out in tents having a good time. I recommend that part (and again, just stop when it gets scary😂)

I like the part of the Alien movies where everybody is just hanging out on the ship and having a good time. I will literally put on Prometheus and just stop watching when it gets scary. I wish they’d make an Alien movie where everybody just chills. that’d be the ultimate subversion of expectations
