First CWA meeting as Emerging Author Last weekend I attended my first Crime Writers' Association as an Emerging Author. We gathered at Craiglands Hotel in Ilkely ready for a packed day of talks and insight from experts across a range of topics. Despite being a newbie and feeling a little nervous, I was made to feel very welcome by the members who were there and soon felt relaxed.

New blog about my first event as Emerging Author HT to Dea Parkin & @jasonthriller.bsky.soc @thecwa.bsky.social
Great talks and advice from Katherine Armstrong, Stephanie Glencross, Roger Price, Kate Bendelow, @annacaig.bsky.social, @alisonmorton.bsky.social and congratulations to @lindamather.bsky

By the way, you know that tanker accident in the North Sea this week? The tanker was carrying jet fuel for US airbases. The cargo ship that ran into it was Russian. Things are getting feisty. I did warn you about Russia.
