The Republican Senate Majority Leader chose to send the Senate HOME rather than hold a vote to fund SNAP.

He will force a vote 13 times on a bill he knows won't pass rather than vote ONE time on a bill to fund SNAP we KNOW would pass.

Shameful.

To recap: Trump is spending money Congress never appropriated to pay federal employees with guns, and cutting programs and grants even when Congress has appropriated funds.
They literally have a contingency fund for SNAP that they are refusing to use.
No Speaker has done more to weaken Congress.

When I lived in Fremont in 2004-9, I rode the 26X into downtown every morning. It was efficient and I loved the view off Aurora high bridge (pre-installation of the view-blocking guardrails!)
