I agree and I think that lines up with the new graphic. The top end casual commanders usually have strong synergies with most of their deck, if not themselves as well. Also being value engines means they take over games way too quickly for lower brackets even if unoptimised.

This is the most meaningless part of the hybrid mana... discussions, but since people finally brought up Transguild Courier, I can admit that I hate that characteristic defining abilities count for Colour ID. If they're 5c then rainbow lands should be too.

idk who at wotc cares about brawl anymore, but I desperately need them to ban the new ugin. It is so miserable to play against. There's no counterplay when everything is a triggered ability on cast.

Hell yeah! I feel like Bump in the Night is underrated. The theme song alone goes so hard. Also, it's a crowded field, but I think Mr. Bumpy might be my favourite Jim Cummings role.

Internet confirmed good! I've been lazy since moving and not set up the wired connection, but now that it makes such a massive difference (500/50 vs 100/50) I will do that. I just have to cat proof the cables, which probably means running them along the roof.

Had the internet man over today to hook us up to the bigger, better internet that has rolled out in the area. Following up on that tomorrow, and then, fingers crossed, some streams in the near future, mayhaps?

Probably just dicking around on Brawl as a chill re-entry, but I'm open to ideas.

Is it bad that I wondered the exact same thing? I feel like anything aggressively emitting a pro-US image is already a *choice*, even if it isn't something explicitly awful.

Sometimes in Snap, you tinker with a variant for a while and come across a great combination of variant, frame, and finish to make the card look really cool, and sometimes they just release a variant and frame at the same time that are meant for each other, like this Swordmaster, and that's fine too

God I'm so glad they're pulling out all the stops for this last season of My Hero. On top of it being so visually stunning, I feel like I'm really picking up on more of the little things that are happening.

People who play Pokemon but are compelled to mention how its too easy need to find some other monster collecting games, or if they can't possibly play something that doesn't have their blorbos, then they need to try some romhacks or harder challenge runs or something.

Does Monster Hunter count? It's *on* a Nintendo console. Anyway I fell in love with the series playing 4U. It's been so long that I don't remember if Gen was even better, but it might've been. I guess Switch is also a handheld, but idk if Rise beats the DS games. I did have a lot of fun with it.
