Nothing really to show for Golden Axe DooM other than massive massive amount of polish to the first 5 maps, enemy AI, player attacks, both mounts can cast magic specific to their class and a whole bunch of little things all throughout

so look at cool old screenshots in the meantime.

Val'ty is a 46-year-old alien mom who just wants to live "peacefully" with her daughter and her people, party all night, pillage the galaxy, and scare a few people.

Unfortunately for her, not everyone respects her job and hobbies, especially the pillaging part.

I'm working on the #Val'tyFPS demo.
Drawing some stuff for Evangelho da Carne (my other game)
Playing RE9, Unreal tournament 2004 and Warframe.

I'm very "open" regarding Resident Evil. I liked RE6 and really enjoyed the RE3 remake.

Started another run to unlock stuff. I have very mixed feelings about the game; I think playing while paying more attention to details might give me a different perspective.

I don't know how I managed to avoid spoilers, but just finished RE9. 🙏

Hear me out...

Univerally praised games are neat enough, but nothing hits quite like something unpopular that speaks to *you*.

So show-and-tell: Link and Explain a game that's UNDERRATED (sub-500 user reviews), UNDERRATED (sub 80% score) or BOTH (ideally!) that is near and dear to your heart.

Playing Unreal Tournament 2004 while being totally normal about Faraleth like I always am.

VAL'TY: Retro FPS featuring a reptilian mother and daughter, inspired by MDK, D&D, Turok, and Chams the Rift.

EVANGELHO DA CARNE (Gospel of Flesh): A short Teocida spin-off, it mixes genres and has a slight inspiration from Klonoa in its platforming segments.

It's difficult for me to compare how #Val'tyFPS is as a game.

In terms of gameplay, it is more enjoyable than AnoMalice.

I haven't been able to get recorded voice lines for Val'ty yet, but you can expect one-liners in the finished game, maybe not in the demo.

Reddit gamedev post mentions: poor onboarding, unintuitive controls, difficulty spikes, players getting lost, and camera problems as issues that came up in over 400 playtests of different games

I am proud to report that my game Apparatus: Exanimus has all of these, and it rules

As I'm working on my most "edgy" art for my current 2D horror game, I've come to terms with the idea that I can and will be criticized (I don't see it as a bad thing, quite the opposite)

But I also know that just by people talking about the game, someone watching will connect with the game. 🌝
