Mr Puppy had to take the bathroom door off the hinges to get me out today (something jammed in the latch) and I figure he bought himself at least 6 months for that 🤣

Got locked in my bathroom for two hours this afternoon until Chris got home at 4. Then he had to take the door off the hinges to rescue me. I'm never not taking my phone to the bathroom ever again.

I've managed to burn myself twice taking something out of the oven in the last 3 days. I have oven mitts, yet I choose to grab a dish towel every time. Why am I like this?

Layla's still got a little hitch in her giddy up, but she seems to be doing better. She's also kinda stoned, but at her age I think it's ok if she's a little stoned.

The dogs are disappointed in the lack of cheese given this morning and are considering launching an invasion of the kitchen. Layla has sent her Minister of Adorable, Oscar, ahead to negotiate for the release of the cheese.

Yeah 😞 the arthritis was expected since she's almost 15. But, the kennel cough is super annoying. I didn't know they could get it if they were vaccinated. Vet said that since Layla is elderly and has a heart issue it's best to treat for exposure even if it didn't reach the bronchitis stage.

Pupdate-Layla's arthritis is progressing and they both have kennel cough, despite annual vaccination, probably picked up from the groomers. So now Layla is on an extra antiinflammatory and they're both on antibiotics and no one can have cheese til they're done with the doxycycline.

This one decided to start limping halfway around the block. She wasn't limping when I got home, didn't slip/trip, nothing in her toes, just started randomly. So of course I'm going to take her to the vet. What are the odds she quits limping before we get there, just like the last 9,876,543 times?

It's cold, it's dark, the dogs still want to go for walks, and I don't want to leave the warmth of my couch 😭😭😭

I picked Pandora like 20 years ago and I'm not changing any time soon 🤣

Luckily, and knocking on ALL the wood, both still work ATM, but they're starting to make some very concerning noises. I think they're mad that we replaced the AC a couple years ago and feel left out 😂

In light of recent events, we're buying a new water heater and boiler this weekend because both are 40+ years old and functioning solely on good vibes at this point. Woo. 😑
