Treating cannabis like a public menace in 2026 is like still blaming video games for violence.
The data moved on. Some people clearly didn’t.
Calling cannabis a “gateway drug” today is like calling rock music Satanic.
That was fairly embarrassing to think or say in the ‘80s. It’s pathetic, ridiculous, and horrifically embarrassing now.
Prohibition logic is basically:
“Trust the science…unless it threatens a narrative we already monetized.”
Wild strategy.
