Doing so much better. Finally feel like my mind AND body are both at ease. Managed to cut down the energy drinks. Don’t miss nicotine. Sleeping so much better.

So close to making it over the 72-hour hump. The anxiety/insomnia hasn’t settled quite yet, but my heart rate and bp are noticeably better. The cravings suck but they come and go. My head is pounding though.

Today’s the quit day. Or at least the test run, but hopefully the quit day. I ordered some gum to help if cravings get really bad. But I’m gonna do my best today. If I plan this out right, worst of the symptoms should be gone by Friday. And then it’s a psychological battle.

Cannot stress enough the importance of having a PCP who is actually willing to listen to you and doesn’t immediately write you off. I’m very grateful to have a doctor that, despite my anxiety, is always willing to hear me out and offer solutions.

Inaugural post. My husband and I went to the Franklin Park Conservatory today. Despite the cloud of uncertainty, it reminded me to appreciate the efforts of organizations like these and the beauty of our plant life in this world. Support your local conservatories. ❤️❤️
