To explain a lil' quiet, been doing some of these goofy ghost portrait absorptions with my dork Nyxxi on FA! Just an example of one here (thanks to Dilmir/tracks98 on fa for being in this one)

I getchas there. Only reason I can think of for pokemon is with how popular worldwide the IP is, localisation costs would skyrocket with things dubbing etc.
Maybe since it's always going to sell no matter what, might cause nintendo to toss their junior teams to work on it too if it's low risk

Hot take about games, but it's a topic that weirdly comes around whenever a new pokemon game comes out. I don't even play the games, but I really dislike the idea that all games 'need' voice acting to be good. Having mental voices for characters, or going through dialog at your own pace is nice too.
