I'm far from perfect but I always try to do right by people and build a better future... and as a child of punks, I ESPECIALLY love doing that if it involves stickin' it to The Man.

I'm super grateful that I've been both incredibly lucky (and I've worked really hard, trying to recognize that more) to be able to forge my own path, but I haven't done it alone. This industry is a disaster but it really does contain some of the absolute best people and I'm lucky to know them.

I know I have a Pisces rising and a writer so I'm always meditating on the nature of The Everything, but I usually spend a lot of travel time to/from GDC thinking about my career, how far I've come since my last GDC, and my hopes for the future. It's like a periodic check-in for me. It's nice.

In theory: rapidly iterate in order to identify what's NOT going to work so you can cut those losses and focus long-term on what DOES work

In practice: act irresponsibly and expect someone else to deal with the consequences 😅
