I did catch myself with time to spare, of course, but I think I really need to get out more and spend less time agonizing over classes in my tiny room lol

my brain has been exceptionally fried and uncooperative recently

set up a car inspection appt for today and when I left I was moving so on-autopilot that I started taking the “go into Honolulu” route

which is the exact opposite direction of where my inspection appt was

got confused for a second bc my mind jumped to bowser/jr’s clown car and not like, an actual clown car

the original got wiped from the internet. but you can never get rid of luigi house, but it mansion

update update: however, we *did* still break last year's record anyway

we gave out around 764 pieces of candy (give or take a few)

update: to her surprise (but not mine), we did not have over 1000 people

it is once again time to bust out the Lucario Hoodie 🐺

well, mom counted up all the candy we bought (including a last-minute buy she did herself) and we do indeed have over 1000 pieces to hand out

now we see whether her prediction pans out or not :y

my body *does* tend to be weirdly-sensitive to certain dietary things, and my morning routines tend to be very important to how well the rest of my days go, so it would make sense to me

I am a little cranky that I didn't notice until now, though

been feeling weirdly low-energy since the weekend and after talking w/the counseldoc today

we realized that it might be some kinda nutrition/dietary thing

bc recently I started changing up my breakfast routine (sometimes I'd have plain cereal instead of oatmeal+fixins, sometimes I'd make tea, etc)

honestly it's already a good moment on its own but the clown music elevates it to peak material

i don't know if i ever posted it here but the new NH news reminded me of it once again

UH transitioned to a new website system this semester and the prof's clearly having a hard time with it (and she's not alone apparently) but it's like

there's no good outcomes for this lmao

either the prof's troubles are impacting the material, or the new website is bugged and messing with classes

this week's emotional psych quiz has multiple questions with the correct answers marked as wrong (and I mean like, at least 5/20, possibly more)

and now I'm wondering how much of the midterm was actually me messing up and how much was actually correct-but-marked-wrong
