Exceptional article. I was a heavy user OF JACOsub in my fansubbing days. I remember our club desperately trying to find fansubs past ep20. We found OK ones for 21-24, but 25-26 we only got ones in literal pidgin English. “AND SO, YOU KILLED HIM?” became “SO KILLED?”
