oops forgot about this thing hi

you should play tokyo necro because. uhh. well it's not particularly good but. hmm. idk there's lesbian sex at some point. i dont remember the whole thing too well but it was at least mildly fun? it's not too long so just try it and see if you like the vibes tbh.

used to use bunnyfap back in the day and then they said it was too expensive to run and sold the domain or something

i don't really get the argument that trading on tragedies is bad

signals for a tragedy allow people to prepare for it, and if that signal is a market based on anonymous internet money, then anyone can trigger that signal, while keeping the signal credible, with minimal risk to information leakers

is insider trading on prediction markets supposed to be bad now i thought getting accurate information was the whole point and giving an incentive for leaking secrets with plausibly deniable payout is pretty cool i think

it's funny how much disparity there is between ethics as a subject worthy of thought yet basically any usage of it as an adjective describing something not worth paying attention to. "ethical hacking" "ethical non-monogamy" "ethical ai" lol lmao

the estrogen is definitely working cause i saw my face today and instead of hating myself i thought "god i want to fuck his mouth"

i would never give money to anthropic or openai. not cause i'm anti-ai or i believe the inelasticity in the supply of compute is their fault tho that's all cringe. i wouldnt give them money cause they use intellectual property and regulatory capture as a moat and are racist about open models.

hm if tailscale ping gets you a direct connection then it's pretty definitely not a tailscale problem

23.02.2026 12:59 — 👍 3    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

assuming the NAS is on the same network as other devices (behind the same NAT), in the past changing the tailscale port has worked for me when i could only connect to one of them from the outside

the price of compute going up is not the fault of ai

the worst an adversary can do is like, make your apps unusable by stopping any record creation which validates? (which we'd hope the pds does at some point)

thankfully there's no code/etc relying on the domains so we don't have to deal with all of the supply chain security risks that other ecosystems have to worry about, but yea it's pretty egregious regardless

22.02.2026 18:42 — 👍 3    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

yeah thats one of the big reasons actually good AND decentralized did methods are a thing i care so much about

would solve the problem of incompetent devs using domains that are already in use by other people
and help competent devs who don't want to buy a domain for a little side project but also don't want to have it be some bullshit like io.github.username.etc and rely on infrastructure they can't control

22.02.2026 17:31 — 👍 19    🔁 1    💬 3    📌 0

maybe we should've used dids for lexicon namespace roots

22.02.2026 17:27 — 👍 26    🔁 1    💬 2    📌 0

open source client with reproducible builds should be table stakes for anything that claims to be end-to-end-encrypted
