No matter how many awful things come out of this White House, you can organize your community at the state and local level to fight back against the oligarchy.

Kudos to everyone who organized and won against Big Tech last year. Let’s keep up the fight this year and beyond.

It’s been one month since 100% of the Epstein files were due by Act of Congress. Thus far they’ve only released .6% of them and are using murder and war to distract you from this fact.

Never forget the most ironclad rule of politics:

Every abuse you justify against another will be weaponized against you in time.

To cheer abuse, violence, or the suspension of others’ rights is to cheer the abuse, violence, and suspension of your own.

Matt Walsh has never been true MAGA — Trump has never been bigoted enough for him.

But always worth noting.

Pass pages done! Which means all that's left is narration in a few weeks (my first time narrating in third person + I think this is the biggest cast of characters I've had!) and then that's a wrap for me on NO BODY NO CRIME until it releases this July!

A PM Announcement that reads:
Lisa Yoskowitz at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers bought World rights to New York Times bestseller Tess Sharpe’s HOW SHE FELL, a YA thriller about a teen filmmaker who sends her last moments to her best friend, revealing she did not fall off the bluffs like everyone thinks—she was pushed. Narrated both in prose and story boards, illustrations and film treatments, set in a small town addicted to covering up men's misdeeds, Dot Reeves keeps the truth of Liberty’s murder secret as she searches for her killer and plots to take revenge—and justice—into her own hands. Jim McCarthy at Dystel, Goderich & Bourret negotiated the deal.

A white block of text with a greenbackground. The text reads: THE PITCH: Liberty Scott is that girl: creative, beautiful, adored…and dead.
Her plummet off the Bluffs above their town throws a small rural community into grief over such a terrible accident. Liberty was a bright light—her artistic spirit and on-going, years-long art project where she filmed 30 seconds of her day and compiled the snippets by seasons and years is beloved—not just in their community, but worldwide.
Now she’s gone and a whole town is in mourning.
Everyone but Dot Reeves.
Dot Reeves is that girl: white-trash, rough-talking, a little too promiscuous for the adult’s comfort. But she’s been Liberty’s best friend since second grade—a whole opposites attract situation—and now she’s got a secret.
Liberty didn’t fall off those Bluffs like the Sheriff said.
She was pushed. By whom, Dot doesn’t know…not yet.
What Dot knows is this: the night Liberty died, Dot was given access to Liberty’s art project, along with the last video Liberty uploaded…as she ran for her life along the Bluffs. Her final message to Dot? The proof is in the project. Don’t trust our friends.
Dot Reeves doesn’t have time to mourn.
She has a killer to find.
And when she does, she’s gonna make them pay.

A white block of text with a greenbackground. The text reads: AN EXCERPT: Liberty’s sent me on a murderer scavenger hunt with not enough clues and I hate that I’m mad at her. But I am. I’m furious at all of this. I’m angry she didn’t call me. I’m pissed she either went up to the Bluffs on her own or she got tricked into going up there and didn’t tell anyone. I’m raging that I don’t know what proof I’m looking for in eight years worth of disorganized video footage.
I am so fucking mad she’s gone. I can’t even breathe around it and I have to. I have to push it down or move through it or something. I have to keep going.
Because she chose me. She chose me to know this truth. To hold it. To be burdened by it. To do something about it.
Not her mom. Not her dad. Not her other friends.
When it came down to it, running for her life, for some reason, her first thought was: Dot.
And that…
That kills me. It’s the ultimate confirmation of best friend-ship, isn’t it?
Because the truth is?
If I had been running for my life, my first thought would’ve been her, too.

Back for more morally gray bisexual YA drama, this time with illustrations and narration from the living and the dead.

Re-writing history is a tool of political fraudsters everywhere. Trump is its keenest proponent.

The birth of the European Community, later the EU, was actually actively supported by the US. The joint, transatlantic goal was to secure peace on the Continent.

It was a specific vision of FDR.

Friendly reminder that Joann Fabrics isn’t closing because it’s a bad business. It’s closing bc it was bought by a private equity firm. This is also what is happening to Hooters and what happened to US Toys R Us and Red Lobster. These companies are being dismantled intentionally.
