“i know.” she said as she smiled at him, making him turn to face her. “pure shock.”

“mhm.” she smiled as she ran her fingers through his hair, knowing he would be pleased to have a son.

“not true.” she said as she began to massage his shoulders. “this baby, he’s gonna need his father…”

she’s wrapping her arms around @aspereros.bsky.social from behind, holding him close to her.

“please stay…” she pleaded as she rested her chin on his shoulder.

“you don’t understand. barnabas saw me when no one else did. i was a servant girl to his family. nobody ever paid attention to me… until him.”

she sighed, getting up as she turned her back to him. “he was my first… everything. that means something to me. not to him though.”

“that’s to make him jealous!” angelique sighed as she grabbed his arm, forcing him to stop. “quentin… listen… please?”

she sat down and looked away. “i didn’t think i could love another man… or that a man could love me without me using my powers…”

finding the ring, she sighed as she went to look for him frantically. “quentin!” she shouted as she looked around for him, feeling guilty.

“quentin, i didn’t mean it!” she said as she found him, rushing over to him despite her condition.

“it was more to me! you saw me when i was invisible!” angelique shouted at him, narrowing her eyes.

“he’s just a means to an end. just sex. no man can compare to you. i’m just settling because i know i can do better. that’s you.”

“if you had just loved me then none of this would be happening. this is all on you.” she said with a hum as she poked his chest.

“i didn’t ask to be with quentin either.”
she muttered as she tuned her back to him. “that man left me on our wedding night for other women.”

she’s walking into the manor after a long day at work from business meetings with shareholders. she sighed as she sat in her office.

“quentin! she called out, looking down at some papers as she waited for @aspereros.bsky.social to come in.

“of course.” she said as she shrugged her shoulders, sighing softly. “you get what you want. as always. thanks to me.” her face hardened.

angelique rolled her eyes as she grabbed her bag and placed it down. “alright. i have just the thing.”

clearing her throat, she grabbed two small bottles out. “this will do the trick. you each drink it when the moon is full like tonight then make love.”

she’s busting into the old house to find barnabas helping himself to some brandy. she sighed, shaking her head.

“i’ve been summoned. what did i do now?” she asked @inumbris.bsky.social, crossing her arms over her chest.

hearing the doorbell ringing, she walked up to the door and answer it. her face smirking when she saw it was @inumbris.bsky.social.

“yes, barnabas?” she asked, crossing her arms over her chest as she stared at him.

she’s glad he thinks that.
