Kim Kelly back writing for Teen Vogue we love to see it
On Jan. 7, Renee Nicole Good, 37, was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, sparking national outrage and protests condemning the organization and national government. Teen Vogue spoke to young people marching in NYC, where DHS Secretary Kristi Noem was speaking, to share their thoughts.
ICE shot a woman driving away from them in the face in broad daylight and immediately began to smear her as a perpetrator of violence and domestic terrorism. The greatest threat to Americans is our own “law and order.”
Two queer women with a 6 year old in school today stopped to film ICE and for their bravery ICE agents murdered one before the other’s eyes. The grief in the survivor’s voice is a knife to the gut. Destroying people and their bonds is what ICE has always done.
So so happy for you!!!!
#OpEd: This week, The White House TikTok account posted a pro-ICE video with Sabrina Carpenter's 'Juno' playing over it. It’s the latest example of the Trump admin's proclivity for pop music on social media. But why are artists like Carpenter the chosen soundtrack? And is the tactic working?

Breaking News: Late last night Conde Nast illegally fired 4 union organizers who asked company execs to explain the downsizing of Teen Vogue and continued layoffs. We’ve filed a grievance.
A massive loss for Teen Vogue. Kaitlyn is a phenomenal editor + writer who always has sharp, thoughtful ideas and impeccable taste. TV Moment was her brain child! Hire her immediately!!!
Condé Nast doesn’t care about diversity. Full stop. Period. End of sentence.
With each of these layoffs and ultimatums, marginalized communities are impacted the most.
thank you for all the support; the statement from our union is now live here with some more reporting.
now that this is public I can confirm that the majority of today’s layoffs were women of color. there are no longer any Black women working at Teen Vogue.
Not enough words to convey how devastating this is on so many levels. Your work + legacy here are irreplaceable and your ideas + execution of those ideas are unmatched. Know you’ll go on to bigger and better things but I hope everyone is so angry hearing this news
I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.
At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.
"Slightly less covered is the wealth of Boricua history that makes his art as powerful as it is, including over 100 years of fraught Puerto Rico-U.S. relations that led to his arrival. This history is crucial for understanding the significance of where Bad Bunny stands now, & where he is going next"

“The rules of Parliament don't really see or fit Māori people,” Maipi-Clarke says. “There’s a lot more resistance and advocation that we’re doing because, basically, our rights are being stripped left, right, and center.

Realllly loved the new netflix show Sirens + chatting with Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock about monstrous women, coping mechanisms, and Milly running so much for the show that she lost a toenail
Say what you want about gnarly as a piece of art but an extremely polarizing song is possibly the best thing katseye could have done at this point in their career. Create an IYKYK energy, make the vibes weirder, encourage people who don’t listen to you to have an opinion…
launched a new teen vogue series today called UNSTANNED, about the pop culture we leave behind. couldn't imagine a better first essay than this one by Tabby Kibugi, about loving and leaving K-pop www.teenvogue.com/story/i-was-...

Endlessly proud of our team and the work that went into this piece! 💗
@thevivllainous.bsky.social: "No one my age uses Facebook. Not a single soul on Earth, + I would rather eat a bowl of crickets and thumbtacks than join f**king Twitter. ...Whenever I see a screenshot from Twitter nowadays, I'm like, I forgot this was a thing.”

JFC, what a damning investigation
To support our action, tell management that you’re with the union! If Condé wants productivity, employees need flexibility!
Global chief content officer Anna Wintour: anna_wintour@vogue.com
CEO Roger Lynch: roger@condenast.com
Chief People officer Stan Duncan: stan@condenast.com
Places to work quietly, conduct a sensitive interview, or even take a call or meeting are in increasingly short supply. If Condé management was really serious about “productivity,” we would already have the space we need to work.
What this is really about is control.
As of 3/3, @CondeNast is enforcing a 4-day Return To Office policy to enhance “productivity." This plan will have the opposite effect.
We have detail-oriented jobs that operate on tight deadlines. Condé sold office space during the pandemic, so most of us don’t have our own desks.
