I wrote this bit about hiding out in the Milwaukee Public Museum after a break up in the early days of 2017. Sort of a fond farewell story.

Here's my appearance on Lake Effect yesterday talking about the Burlington Liars' Club, there's even a quiz show portion! Hear how I did: www.wuwm.com/arts-culture...
I recorded a walking tour of Brady Street for VoiceMap. It focuses on history, spotlights some of the current businesses, a few personal observations. If you scroll down, you'll see there's an option to buy a gift voucher, might make a nice last minute stocking stuffer?

I'll be on the "Ghost Walk Spooky Talk" show at 6pm to discuss my contributions to this year's RW Radio Ghost Walk. One of those was "Bremen Street Triangle," a whacky new theory based on my childhood love of the Bermuda Triangle. Tune in riverwestradio.com 104.1FM

I wrote about Lake Geneva, birthplace of Dungeons & Dragons last year. The Gygax Memorial Fund is trying to fundraise a statue of the game's co-creator Gary Gygax for the shores of Geneva Lake to pay tribute to this epic history. Check out their fundraiser here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/617...
I'm glad this article is online in time for the Halloween season!

I've been working on a lot of cool stories lately and this one by @teakrulos.bsky.social is right up top: The true historical weirdness that led Whitewater, WI, to become known as "Second Salem," a den of witchcraft – of legend, at least. www.milwaukeemag.com/second-salem...
I am gazing into my crystal ball. Yes, I can see your future. Yes, yes, it is 2pm TOMORROW. It is foretold, I see you seated at the Irish Cultural & Heritage Center. There is a look of intrigue about you. The secrets of the cosmos are being revealed. Yes, I have seen it.
For the last ten years or so, October is a real busy month for me. Lots going on!

There's a dang Rapture predicted for today, so a good of time as any to remind you I wrote a book titled APOCALYPSE ANY DAY NOW (2019, Chicago Review Press). Great item for your bunker bookshelf: teakrulos.com/apocalypse-a...
Plus weird news about radioactive shrimp, a barefoot LEGO running champ, Pazuzu, and more. Jenny Sanchez tells us about her trip to Wall Drug In our new "Long Days Travel" segment. It's time to get weird!

Big congrats to Sahan Jayasuriya on his book "Don't Say Please: The Oral History of Die Kreuzen." He's worked on this a long time and I know how much effort a project like this is and Sahan did a great job preserving this chapter of Milwaukee and music history.
