You’re saying the people who designed and built this building… have no idea what maintenance is and how much it costs? Why would they not know that? There are 7 *larger* presidential libraries already. Do you think they don’t know how much their upkeep is?

Not necessary for the South Side of Chicago to have a new library and athletic center? Do you live there? Otherwise how would you know?

A monument would be far cheaper then. This is a museum, a library, and an athletic center. Why do you care that the Obama Foundation is spending money to build and run it? Do the people of Chicago not deserve it?
