The most fascinating thing about this company is that if you look at their steam reviews people LOVE these games.
If you just pay attention to them on socials - you'd think they were universally hated.
I'll say this as someone who took the time to learn JP to play games - if you care enough about this, learn the damn language.

WIP. Same trees, different styles. As usual for my trees, it's easy to change the leaves' shape. I added snow to tree models in SpeedTree to create half-snow and full-snow variants. ❄️🌲

Pokopia is worth getting a Switch 2. Genuinely one of the most interesting and fun games I've ever played. Perfect blend of Animal Crossing and DQ Builders. There's a sense of mystery and expansiveness that keeps on giving.
I hope this motivates Pokemon company to start a new trend in quality.

Re: vertical slices in game dev: I feel like if you make a VS and you don't wind up shipping the content you made in that VS, you didn't actually make a successful VS.
