Initially Funiki had one reminder per day. But there was a user feedback about having more, so who am I to refuse:).
Now you can setup up to 10 reminders (I guess it’d be overkill) to enter your mood per day!

Apple Health shows when we’ve got many electricity outages and I started taking stairs instead of using elevator (while carrying a not-so-light Cybex e-Gazelle stroller😁)

I always assumed that weather doesn’t affect my mood in any meaningful way. The last month shows that probably there is a correlation (not very strong though🙂)

It’s been a month since the last Funiki update. Hope you had a chance to log your moods with enabled location during this period;).
Because now Funiki has a new widget: Weather & Your Mood🤩

Another thing is using elements that remind of “big” games without having actual condition to these. Sad.

Mobile games industry is mature and very big in terms of number of players and profits. Thats why for me it’s strange the companies there still happily employ shady practices.
It is a wide known meme of an ad that shows gameplay completely different from what actually happens in the game.

Cursor, why?

While walking in the dark to avoid waking up the children, I saw Apple Watch proposing me to enable flashlight as the top option in the UI.
Looks like a very nice feature from Apple which I’ve not noticed before - show action that has high probability of being useful at the moment.

Good time to remind you to NEVER give your money to the ICRC, UNICEF, Amnesty International, and other huge organisations that are useless at best and fully compromised or outright malicious in some cases.

How big the benefit of having more presence, or even owning that island should be to justify all these losses?

I’m curious if there is any rational, even if cynical, reason behind this “buy Greenland” threat for the US. Even if this is just a very creative way of negotiation, it will surely hurt lots of US companies.

My Kyiv moods from Funiki. I’ve got many ideas about what to do with locations, but for now there is just a single map with all the moods without filters, so it takes a while for them all to appear there:).

I really liked the last season of Stranger Things. Don’t understand why many are so critical of it.

TIL about the term “friendslop”.
It is a simple co-op game focused on playing with your friends instead of paying much attention to core mechanics or story typical for “real” games.
Among Us is one of the first examples, but there are many more newer friendslop games out there now.

I don't know if people who created UFO 50 had a similar experience (probably not), but for me it really is similar: you have a choice of many games, jump straight to playing, often it's not easy to understand what's happening, so you close the game and start another one. Fascinating experience.

UFO 50 brought me memories from my childhood . The only console we had at home was a Famicom clone. Of course, we had some pirated cartridges to play. Some of them were "999 in 1" or something like that, promising to contain hundreds of games which actually mostly were the same games:).

I'm still exploring them, but this definitely is a very worthwhile purchase.

Recently I wanted to find a game to play. As a father of little twins, I don't have capability to commit to something big or time consuming. So it was not easy to make a choice until I saw UFO 50. It's not a game, it's 50 (fifty!) different retro-styled games.

By the way, with the latest update, Funiki doesn’t propose new users to register or login. It gets them straight to the app, and if they wish, they can register later.

It’s common to think that weather conditions affect our mood. Personally, I don’t feel like this is true to me.
But to confirm or disprove this hypothesis, I need data. So I will add a statistics widget linking moods with weather to Funiki and see🤓.

And while I was looking for a game screenshot for this post, I found a Reddit post with people from all over the world sharing similar sentiment. Conclusion: we are not that unique actually:).

One of the strongest associations with winter memories for me is… Max Payne. I played the game when it was snowy and cold outside, and the game happening in a winter setting really resonated with me at the time.

Funiki, like any other good mood tracking app, allows you to see lots of stats. For example, Mood Patterns widget shows how “good” or “bad” your mood was during each day depending on the time of the day🤓
