Yeah the sparse crowds aren’t a good look for the sport. I’d guess that the three day format will make the attendances look even worse

I thought they would have gone for something similar to the International Swimming League format of back-to-back races. GST is definitely giving time to allow people to lose interest and turn over

I think the demand could be generated in North America, it’s just that the audience has been neglected with poor coverage and poor management of the sport

I get that the idea is to create something palatable for US networks, don’t know if this complicated format meets that brief though
