Also while I'm here, thank you to everyone who's donated to the repair of my ceiling pipe leak!!! It's still going, but I was able to get some things to thaw it out and I'm waiting to see if it will help in these temps. I'm about halfway to my goal!

31.01.2026 21:16 — 👍 53 🔁 12 💬 2 📌 0My first attempt today at applying heat tape is shoddy at best - I can't wrap around the outdoor drainage pipe because it's too close to the dang wall, so I'll need to get two shorter tapes to place linearly on the sides, plus insulation, etc. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

After 1 year and a 6k, our sewer line has frozen again 💀 We’re calling to see if there is a warranty on the work, but after my car broke down last week and its repairs, I don’t feel great!
