That's a good point honestly. that's also not something I'm aware of anyone else doing either. Steam supplies me with games and seems to try not to step on its users or clients. It doesn't feel the same with other companies.
Steam offers a huge amount for that money. What is Google and Apple offering outside of their marketplace? Is it remotely competitive equal to what steam offers devs?
Have and use an old sonic care electric toothbrush with the large handle and it's lasted me over 6 years. It even sat unused in a box for a few of those years. Few things I have lasted so long. They know how to make stuff that lasts they just don't.
