Much the same here. I usually make ricotta if I am making lasagna or cannelloni. I have made fresh mozzarella before as well, but no hard cheeses yet. 🙂

Do you have any amusement parks nearby? Apparently sitting in the back of roller coasters and similar rides are supposed to be good for dislodging the things. I don't know how true that is but it sounds fun. 🙂

My wife and my mother used to run a small pickling business and sell at the local markets. Low margins, and lots of effort so they eventually stopped the sales.

Now we just make enough for personal use. 🙂
