I shouldered as much of the costs as I possibly could but even with a new loan and emergency comms open, it's still more than I can afford. I'm trying my best to get preorders out but costs are now all out of pocket and they're about as dry as can be. So I need help 🫠

What started as my most successful merch experience during the first 3 weeks of the campaign turned into a nightmare that caused me to go back into debt after I'd finally been debt-free and stable for 2 years. Tariffs caught me by the worst kind of surprise.

Here's a breakdown of what happened during my wiggle pin campaign 😃🧵

Shipping charges : +1754€

Refunds : -2688€ (caused by tariffs and shipping cost increase)

ACTUAL Shipping costs (post-tariffs) : -5190€

Haven't followed up on the situation here but after the de minimis update, a lot of things fell apart with most of my preorders coming from the US. I'm working on finding solutions and funding to make this happen still but yeah 🥲 If not, better luck next time I guess
