Today I got back beta notes and started revising my WIP yet again. My readers made excellent points and I’m glad they caught some major goofs. Still, I’m ready to move past this point in the process. Anyone else stuck here with me?

Now that I'm in my sixties I no longer aspire to be like anyone else. My attempts to fit my writing into the mold of what's acceptable just doesn't feel right. So I may never be a popular author, but at least I'll be true to myself. I just have to learn to be happy with that.

Just sent the WIP for the second book of my Restless Spirits paranormal romance series off to my betas. Now I can take down Christmas (and also beta read the manuscript my husband just sent me).

The transition from the winter holidays to Valentine’s Day has begun.

Staying focused can be hard. Today I came across this picture I took during a trip to Monterey, California, in 2021 and I'm wishing I could be back there again enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells. Trouble is, my book isn't going to write itself. Back to work!
