The CFL goes all-Canadian again!!
Me, too. I guess it's important to remember that they do meet every two years at the CHOGM. But still nothing beats an actual official visit.
The Prime Minister of Canada should really be visiting his counterpart in Australia more than once every two decades. And vice versa. There's a growing opportunity for the Commonwealth realms to come together. The greater Commonwealth, too, has so much potential in this changing world.
When the CFL went to Shreveport, Louisiana...
Corporate branding of stadiums has long been a pet peeve of mine. Some of the names are downright awful. I love the fact Tim Hortons Field is now Hamilton Stadium, actually. Wishful thinking but hope it stays that way.
This is the app I've been waiting for. Combining Bluesky, Mastodon, YouTube, AND RSS is awesome. Well done.
McMaster University has posted the email written by the professor to Canadian figure skater Maddie Schizas, granting her an extension on her assignment.
“I’d say focus on the competition right now, and submit it directly to me when it is done”

Haha. Me, too.
Gander. Gander. Gander.
I am very much looking forward to this. Especially if it has Groups like in Facebook. Exciting to see.

It's a great signing. He can learn under BLM and (hopefully) emerge as a franchise player who (hopefully) can become a marketing machine.

The space shuttle Challenger disaster was 40 years ago today. This was the first big newsworthy story I can recall as a child. I was 8 years old at the time. I was both fascinated and petrified when I saw it on TV.
Apparently there was an earthquake here in southern Ontario. I didn't feel a thing.

I've updated the Links page on the CFH website. Check out these great sites for some great CFL and Canadian football content.

The Ti-Cats were dreadful in 2003. Could've easily been an 0-18 season.
Here's a fun one. Worst records for each team since 1960.
Tell me do you still carry memories (or trauma) with any of these historic seasons?

We can build walls or we can be more ambitious — and build something better, stronger, and more just.
The Toronto Blue Jays have unveiled their 50th season logo and jersey sleeve patch for 2026, a throwback-style "50" in the club's original split numbers, with 1977-era colours and a gold outline.

Hehe. Too much.
Today in Canadian Football History...
The Canadian Football League was formally established in Winnipeg upon the merger of the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union (aka the Big Four) and the Western Interprovincial Football Union. Sydney Halter was named the CFL’s first commissioner. #cfl
Open minded on this but I don't see the problem with the current CFL playoff structure. And surely first place should be rewarded with the bye.
