Yeah, machine learning outside of LLMs is making really useful tools! LLMs and the like are toys, really.

The industry is mostly sales people with a new toy they don’t understand. In the 50s it was nuclear power stations, nuclear medicine, nuclear trains, nuclear cars, nuclear cookers. “AI” will find its place, but it’s place won’t be EVERYWHERE.

If I’d known I’d be up by 7am, I wouldn’t have stayed up past 2am… ugh!
