I tried setting my lock screen wallpaper to a pure black image to get around not turning off the display completely but unfortunately my monitor is too smart for its own good and considers that "no signal" and turns itself off immediately 💀 this is so dumb

literally the only thing I wish I could fix is that I have a bug where no matter what, if I let my monitor lose signal (sleep/screensaver mode/turning it off) I will not get output again until I reboot. I have no idea why. This happened to a lesser extent on windows too. advice appreciated
