Standard Sunday fare on Cowley Road. Dropped curb completely blocked and us pedestrians forced mostly into road @badlyparkedox.bsky.social

...yellow lines, CPZs, zigzags & parking on crossings (in person enforcement only). Police enforce 1. dangerously parked vehicles e.g. parked on a small junction blocking emergency access- it got towed. 2. dangerously parked cars on crossings and zigzags with footage.

Not wanting to point anyone back at X for the background, but it is less about apathy and more about stuff that's unenforcable at the momnet in Oxon. A pavement parking ban would have helped.

A satellite image of a dual carriage way road. At the edge of the eastbound lane, the tracks of damage in the verge are visible from cars exiting the shared path.

It could be easily solved with a couple of removable bollards.

Would make it safer for drivers as this doesn't look like the safest way to join a fast road.

This is totally unacceptable behaviour and needs to be stamped out quickly as everyone else seeing it will think if they are getting away with it then it must be ok. Where is the enforcement?

If they're enforcing zigzags in school zones, that's a genuine problem and we endorse their loitering wholeheartedly!
