Regardless of how private or thoughtfully you say racist things, they still remain racist and it’s right to be called out on them.

Who’s going to hold the cunt Jenrick to account? Surely it’s the job of the current government to open an inquiry into a senior member of the shadow cabinet being openly racist and making false accusations. Misconduct in public office has a max penalty of life.

Totally anecdotal but when I was travelling in the US in 1980-81 I stayed with friends of friends in Florida-all blue collar workers. 1 was studying for a very basic literacy exam, I helped him-he was in his early 20s & not even functionally literate 😳none of them were 😔🤷‍♀️

My primary in the 60s was very very diverse-next to Gatwick airport so we had immigrants & refugees, but also Europeans who’d come after the war & settled. Poles, Italians, Greeks, Indians/Pakistanis, Ugandan Asians, Vietnamese 👍🏻by secondary everyone was ‘English’
