Bluesky's moderation is a joke, seemingly pushed by a right-wing mass reporting campaign to suspend their users over nothing, but it doesn't occur to them that those right-wing fascists want this site shut down/gone, and Bluesky is gladly cutting its own legs out from under itself to help them.

Just a few fucking months ago they were mocking the suicide of a trans girl. That these soulless hacks would even try to claim a moral high ground when they consistently espouse dehumanizing, dangerous shit and eschew empathy towards anyone they don’t understand makes me furious.

We are going to punish somebody for this attack, but just who or what will be blown to smithereens for it is hard to say. Maybe Afghanistan, maybe Pakistan or Iraq, or possibly all three at once.
