'Turandot' is Giacomo Puccini's final opera, but he died before he could figure out how to finish it. Over the last century, a handful of composers have been commissioned to try completing the opera.

My completion of 'Turandot' was commissioned by Washington National Opera and recorded by an incredible cast: Christine Goerke, Clay Hilley, the English National Opera Chorus, and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

I collaborated very closely with choreographer Lori Nichol and coach Carolina Kostner on this; I created a medley to fit Yuma's technical demands for the program, and Lori choreographed his movements to bring out the libretto and plot of the opera.

'Turandot: Christopher Tin Finale' will be released worldwide on February 6. Then one week later on February 13, Yuma Kagiyama will be competing in the Men's Singles Figure Skating Finals at the Olympics to a version of the music prepared especially for his routine.
