I posted on #tiktok that I would block racists and bigots who sling hate in my comments and lost 600 followers in 6 hours… That app used to feel so positive and warm and cozy. Now I get anxiety every time I go to post. I hope this place stays wholesome.
I 100% agree. And I think it gets to the root of the “us vs them” problem we are living in. We used to know how to connect as humans and communicate our thoughts. To get back there we need to share joy together.
I love the communities it serves, it gives me a purpose and a way to give joy to other people.

I’m 39 today, and I’ve spent the last 4 weeks of 38 working on some amazing projects with some amazing people. I passed the time last night in my hotel room watching a so-bad-it’s-good horror movie with my movie club, and today I fly to Atlanta to meet my team for one more stint of production days.

I always chose the female character growing up cause she was cooler and felt more relatable to who I am inside.
Slowly being convinced we are in a video game. These guard dogs can only walk automatically on a predetermined path… I feel like all you need to do is sneak in crouch mode and squat in shadows to get past them… just don’t trigger swarm mode 😳

On set today for an infomercial in my parent company’s LED wall studio. I came just to hang after directing b-roll yesterday, but I may be operating camera after a crew member has GONE MISSING! (Is this the start of a horror movie? Should I write that story?!) #storyideas #horrormovie
It took me a whole episode but I’m finally hooked into SILO on appletv. The score is really wonderful, the acting is great, and it’s more than just fallout or hunger games or the matrix. Feels like a love letter to these but deeply original. I hope it holds my attention!

I spent the day directing b-roll for an infomercial about a medication that I take that changed my life forever. My team was incredible, the people were filmed were so sweet and so fun, and I just had the best day. I’m turning 39 on Monday. This was a nice way to round out another year of filmmaking
I had the incredible opportunity to be Creative Producer on a horror feature this month. It changed my life. I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on! Sad it’s over, but now we get to truly find the film in post production. EXCITING! #demonetize #indiehorror
