As an addendum it does not train off your images, and discord as a company has nothing to do with its operations outside of the normal bot API.

I've seen people yapping about this over the past two days posting the misinfo about what it is, how it works, and what to do about it.

When an app is added to a user, they can use it wherever the "use external applications" permission is enabled. That's why it can be used where it isn't added.
This is just how bots work on discord. Banning the user ID of the bot doesn't do much. If you don't want it, turn off that permission.

It is not "added to every server automatically" or whatever people are claiming.

Bots/applications can be added to both users and servers, if set up for it.
