I knew you would feel me, comrade!

Tim this essay was so trenchant and accurate on the cultivated myopia at play, the complete abrogation of any sense of responsibility. I can't lie, I've been avoiding a lot of climate news this year, I find it so bitterly depressing. Hearing Labor say "The Greens Political Party" fills me with rage.

The fields yearn for rich bourgeois perspiration - down to the countryside with them!

That's one of my favourite things about Bluesky, so many amazing artists with interesting and unique styles. What I really like is that they are at all different stages in the journey, too. Legends like Ian McQue, experienced pros like you, and people just at the start of their artistic lives.

Tbh I feel like that sense of voice has been lost to an extent under greater computing power and the homogenous juggernaut of Magic: The Gathering "house style", if you know what I mean. I don't think something so weird looking could get made today.

What a train wreck. Student politics at its worst. I can understand frustration with the ideological astigmatism of the centre left, I'm not sure a Hegelian dialect is what's required in response. ”49 theses on Corbynism". Eyeroll.

I just love the lighting on this, big Dishonored vibes; a steampunk game that had wonderful art direction.

It's ridiculous, the platform is mostly bots and ads for dick pills. But I also think, people should accept they're losing something, and that's okay. I felt that way about deleting my Facebook account. I did lose something, especially being overseas, but it was also worth it to me.

Yeah. We get a very circumscribed view over here, but I love what Pritzker is putting out. I feel there is enough talent for Democrats to produce a good candidate with a decent primary; my concern is it won't matter.

I agree. I find it jaw-dropping how many neoliberal dems are in denial about this when it's so far beyond conjecture. Newsom gets a lot of flak in lefty spaces, but at least he's talking about it in no uncertain terms. He's the only "establishment" dem with that urgency, despite his other flaws.

A potentially more interesting question to me is what happens if he *doesn't* run? The democrats profoundly screwed this up with Biden despite the obvious risk. The GOP have sacrificed so much for Trump's cult; I suspect his absence will leave a succession battle akin to imperial Rome.

I saw a post on LinkedIn (I know) this week with a pic of her clutching trump's arm, and some moron gushing over her feminine wiles and how canny she was. People falling over in comments to suck up. I was like, this woman is a menace!!

I'm so happy to see you say this, I was never a regular reader, and thought maybe I was hallucinating the shift!

I understand the bollocks were part of world war II rationing, typically served with jellied neets and junket.

It's also a growing impossibility for swathes of Australians who purchased homes in northern queensland or in flood plains that developers paid bribes to build in. Crazy stuff, I always wonder how denialists explain insurance companies responses to climate change.

I know it's very Australian of me to say this, but I think it's inevitable at this point. I suspect the only reason he's hanging on is so they can scapegoat him after the party gets shellacked in the council elections.

This was a good find, a harlequin swimming crab (Lissocarcinus laevis). Don't be fooled by the name; they are found almost exclusively under or on anemones. #scuba #marinelife #underwaterphotography

Would be interesting to see something like this in Australia with One Nation, for example.

BBC under fresh pressure over extent of Reform UK coverage Nigel Farage’s party featured in considerably more News at Ten bulletins than Lib Dems over six months, study finds

This was done recently with Reform in the UK and BBC coverage, results not surprising. The media normalises *and* amplifies fascism with no repercussion.

He is absolutely making the most of his abilities, however his serve will always put a very hard stop on his potential. He has one of the worst conversion rates in the entire ATP (makes up for it with return rate, but that only goes down over time, ask Ferrer).

A group of big-eyed trevally, aka jacks (caranx sexfaciatus). This was an offshoot of a huge school I spent about 40 minutes cavorting with. To me, jacks always look like a fart they expected to be silent has made a rather loud noise. #scuba #marinelife #underwaterphotography

Why do they do this? Don't they understand a plurality of their voters preferences the Greens and vice versa? Also, as opposed to what, the Greens Garden Party? The Greens Surprise Party? It's so sophomoric.
