Oh hey it’s that new cover I’ve been posting about over the last couple days. It’s out now! Go check it out if you’d like!

Quick update before bed: mix is sounding good so far, but there’s a bit I want to polish before release. Namely, there’s some reverberations I think I need to make louder. I’m worried about drowning out the main vocals but atm they’re just a bit too quiet. So hopefully I’ll get that fixed

In other news, this is the most amount of vocals a song has (1 main singer, 1 for main harmonies, and 6 more to create effect. All different VBs, as a plus)

I love telling myself I will do something and then doing literally anything but that.

I wanted to work on a cover I had put on the back burner to clear up my backlogue but instead I hyper focused on a new one. Good news is that the tuning is nearly done, now I just need to mix it

As for Zines, I’ve joined another one and the people there are so lovely. It really feels more like a community than my previous attempt. So, that’s cool as well

My video made it onto an English cover playlist with several other translyricists I admire (Anthong, Micchi, Octavia, Jubyphonic, among others) and a playlist consisting of other vocasongs I really enjoy. It’s amazing, and I’m truly grateful. It’s really turned my feelings on Vocaloid around!

But the success of my fascinator cover is overwhelming. It’s currently at over 900 views, nearly triple my previous highest view count. I’ve received so many lovely comments on it, and recognition I thought was impossible.

Going to be honest, I halfway considered quitting Vocaloid at the start of the year. I had a really awful experience with it at the tail end of 2025, with a zine experience that left me hyperventilating after talking to someone who I had once considered a friend.

A ballot for Choose Your Legends, a Fire Emblem Heroes voting campaign. For every odd day, Sigurd from Genealogy of the Holy War was voted. On Day 2, Diamant from Engage was chosen. On Day 4, Ivy from Engage was chosen. On Day 6, Kurt from Shadows was chosen.

I am very tempted to cover that new THaB song… the main question is do I want to cover it with Gumi or Koto? Both make sense in my head (Gumi was the original singer in the song it’s based on, and Koto has both the trans HC and previous Vane Lily cover experience in her favour) but I’m torn lol

I have had the switch for about a half hour, and aside from getting down both the date and place of purchase and ID for potential breakage reasons, my main first impression after nearly a year of hype is this:
