Other offerings include the burning of incense, joss paper, and paper replicas of material goods like clothing or accessories. These offerings are for the spirits to be well-fed and cared for in the afterlife.
Celebrations for the new year are quite regional, so I celebrate in my family's second-generation, Vietnamese-American way by spending time with family and eating good!
We offer food to our ancestors with *cúng* (offering to the spirits) to both welcome them in at the beginning and send
