I'm not so confident that there is the transitional relief claimed here. My business rate bill according to the VOA website is going up by over 100% to £26k from roughly £10k. The transitional relief is only £1k

First it was stealth taxes on households, and now it’s a stealth tax on our high streets.

The government is hammering businesses, we need an urgent VAT cut for hospitality services now.

❓Why isn’t she using the powers she gave herself to help high streets?

Rates bill going from £950 month to £2350. Why does the UK treat independent hospitality with such contempt. We create economic value we don't extract it unlike the banks and the city that Reeves fawns over

No details on business rates, my guess the relief will be withdrawn and rates will go up, though lower than pre pandemic

The fastest way to turbocharge economic growth is to fix our relationship with the EU & plug the £90billion Brexit blackhole.

If tax free allowance is static, 20% of rise will go to government.

It's as if all they thought about was campaigning and nothing about how they were going to govern
