Even though Hochul will win the primary + the general, and many of our Left electeds will endorse her, the rank + file Left must campaign hard and vote against her in the primary to shift the balance of power in the state.

“We are inside a public library. Our public libraries are constantly underfunded.” When running, Zohran pledged to give 0.5% of the city budget to libraries. But the City Council needs to agree—so people need to email & call their City Council reps to urge that libraries get at least 0.5% of budget.

The masks aren't the cause of their violent behavior. The masks are the result of a system that has uplifted law enforcement despite their open radicalization to the right. Where we are politically with federal police is the result of a failure to take seriously the problem of police power.

Of course law enforcement wears masks. They have long not been accountable to "the people." They are their own super-class of people with special rules. It's a symptom; not a cause.

In many of the first generation of modern concentration camp systems (near the turn of the twentieth century), the vast majority of deaths were caused by disease and malnutrition. Most of the victims were women and children.
