talk about a blast from the past. haven't thought about that game in like 20 years.

I remember playing graal with my brother and cousin. We all had rhyming names, and my brother got semi-famous on one server for (first) helping out a ton of new players and protecting them from pks then (later) getting an item that let him spawn money and starting (essentially) a server-wide riot.

Let's start a campaign to add the tag "Arcade Puzzle" to games like Tetris, Lumines, Puyo Puyo, Petal Crash, etc on Steam. These games get lumped in with great but completely different genres of puzzle games like Portal and sadly sidelined. Steam users have the power to carve out this niche!

Sometimes I hate myself for the kind of gameplay ideas I have, coding this tumbling block physics with the screws was SOO hard

But I'm happy that the block puzzles are getting more varied and better integrated with the platforming, pacing and all

I absolutely love this movie. 2 minutes of crazy inventiveness in just this clip, and the whole movie just builds more and more. You wouldn’t believe what happens even if you saw the first 15 minutes.

Hair is one of my favorite subjects to paint.

I so am weary of every site or app I open offering a "year in review" type montage. I do not want this; another slice of my mind to be set outside of myself, handed off to some rube goldberg ghost for processing. Let my "nth most verbed noun of 2025" be obliviated by my indifference as god intended.

It feels like days have suddenly become only like 4 hours long.

I wake up and suddenly the day is over. where are the rest of my hours? has someone stolen them? empty your pockets. you must tell me if you have my hours. you must! have you buried them? are you two hours in a trenchcoat?
