I was just unravelling Marvin’s mouse on elastic, cos he was itching to play with it and he got inpatient and twanged it straight into my eyeball ! Anyway it’s hanging in the doorway now all ready to play with, so he has gone for a nap 🤬

We went on holiday to Spain in 2003. On the last night, we went out for a meal and our villa was burgled and all our mobile phones were taken, with other things. We had no reason to take them with us when we went out, all they did was make/receive calls. I can’t imagine leaving my phone behind now

We thought he had a saddle thrombosis which is a complication of his heart disease and mostly fatal and excruciatingly painful. Turns out he was just hamming it up for us, and a little trip out and £350 later, he just needs to take some anti inflammatory ( which I already have )

Rushed to the vets with Marvin who had ( apparent )weakness and pain in his back legs, yowling in pain and dribbling wee. We thought he was gonna ☠️ he sat for the vet like an angel, got poked and prodded and only let out a tiny meow when the thermometer went up his bum. That drama queen has a UTI 🙄

Jilly Cooper has been a massive part of my reading life, I read all her books in my teens. At the beginning of the year I had a wonderful time reading them all again. The tv series Rivals was the best thing on telly in an age and I’m very sad to hear she has died. Rest In Peace Dame Jilly ❤️

I have friends with downs siblings, my best friends sister has special needs. I did work experience in a special needs school before I went into nursing, went on holidays etc and it was very nearly my career path, so my heart always bursts when I see one of those beautiful people smashing it ❤️
