Be careful when clearing heavy snow. Take your time and avoid overexertion. Take regular breaks and rest if needed.
- Keep decorations away from sprinklers and heat sources.
- Check your smoke alarms to make sure they work. Have one in every bedroom, outside sleeping areas and on each level of your home.
- Have an escape plan. Know two ways to leave every room in case of a fire.
Wishing those who celebrate a happy and safe Lunar New Year. Please keep fire safety in mind when celebrating. - Use LED lights instead of candles or open flames to prevent fires.
