Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency is proud to honour Treaty Day in Nova Scotia. Oct. 1 was Treaty Day, which recognizes the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed in the 1700s. These treaties affirmed Miβkmaw rights and relationships that continue today.
